The value of safety for workers
Given the nature of the products made in Vebi Istituto Biochimico, special attention is paid to the health of workers. Safety measures include the use of PPE to prevent any chemical hazards; internet stations, easily accessible from all production areas, to check the archive with safety data sheets for all substances and products; air suction systems and the classification and identification of all containers used for chemical substances thanks to the use of talking labels. Also, all safety devices used for production lines are inspected more frequently than required by safety regulations.
Safety management system
The Company has a health and safety management system based on the regulations envisaged by Legislative Decree 81/2008, which applies to both employees and workers who perform activities within the company area. To this end, it is essential to strengthen a culture of prevention shared by all workers, which is pursued through careful training and information.
