Two souls – Biochemical and Beauty&Health – and one heart: a passion for research. This key value is expressed in two essential assets for Vebi’s corporate culture: innovation (in both products and processes), and the enhancement of human capital, made up of skills and motivation to contribute to the company’s growth and success.

Dialogue and involvement are key to generate value and values for the company and its territory. To benefit from fruitful results, this path requires care, attention, mindfulness, and time. Our stakeholders have been called to share our path towards continuous improvement and sustainability because we are aware that the best results are obtained together.

Vebi Istituto Biochimico aims to be a place where workers are valued and feel an integral part of achieving company objectives and results. A key theme that also emerged during our materiality analysis, promoting a positive working environment therefore becomes a strategic element, strongly wanted by our top management.
Health and safety first
Since Vebi is a chemical company, health and safety in the workplace are a constant challenge, to which huge resources are allocated. The protection of workers continues to always be crucial, given the awareness that the production activity, particularly chemical, implies, in itself, levels of risk that have been reduced in the long term thanks to area interventions by the adoption of safeguards aimed at reducing the chemical risk, and ad hoc training activities.

At Vebi Istituto Biochimico all products comply with the highest and most rigorous safety standards required by Italian and international legislation. The company operates through its Biochemical and Beauty&Health divisions.
Environment
Vebi wants to continue investing in research projects capable of developing effective products that respect the environment and people, because it believes in the environmental dimension of sustainability. It is now essential to consider our environmental impact as a top priority. Over the past few years, Vebi Istituto Biochimico has paid increasing to the environmental impact of its business, an attention that, in 2020, led it to obtain the Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001 certification.
