International Day for Biological Diversity 2021

Biodiversity is the great variety of animals, plants, fungi and microorganisms that form our planet. A multiplicity of species and organisms which, in relation to each other, create a fundamental balance for life on Earth. Biodiversity, in fact, guarantees food, clean water, safe shelters and resources, essential for our survival.

However, this fragile balance is now at risk due to the human presence and all its activities. The increase in our use and consumption of natural resources, more than the Earth can produce, is endangering the entire survival of the Planet.

This year 2021 the theme is “We are part of the solution” which is perfectly linked with the Agenda2030 and it underlines that humankind is part of a system where nature plays a fundamental role and we are all called to solve problems due to climate change, health, food and water security and sustainable livelihoods.

At Vebi Istituto Biochimico we produce solutions that guarantee not only hygiene and health, but also the growth and care of Home & Garden with a line of products that are particularly attentive to the use of raw materials exclusively of natural origin. Furthermore, our R&D Laboratory is always looking for the most innovative solution possible, evaluating the environmental impacts.
